SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Once our company has completed the predominate use study and secured exemption status in addition to a refund of utility taxes, we don't stop there. We understand that situations arise over time, and that you need to maintain your exemption status to remain in compliance with state requirements. We will be there for you anytime you need us.

If you had to replace a defective meter, or add a new meter in addition to present meter(s), you are required to have a new engineer certificate, and also to file a new exemption certificate with the utility provider(s).

If you change utility providers, you will be required to file a new exemption certificate in addition to a new engineer certificate.

If you add new equipment (used in production, not office equipment), or remove old equipment, you are required to have a new predominate use study performed.

If you relocate your business, or add additional property for production use, you will be required to have a new predominate use study performed.

For any of the above situations, all you need to do is contact our office and we will take care of the changes for you. Keep in mind, the state requires that an accurate and up to date engineer certificate and study are kept at the physical location the study was performed. If an auditor checked, and the certificates are out of date, or shows incorrect provider information, you will be subject to fines and penalties. In addition, if you change providers and do not update your certificates, the new provider may levy utility taxes since they do not have an exemption certificate for their account with you.

We are here to take care of your needs throughout the entire process, and beyond!
